In the middle of downtown Mühlhausen at the Divi Blasii church is the charming, fully renovated half-timbered house that houses the lovingly furnished holiday apartment on the first floor. The former sexton's house, which also gives its name to the apartment and the star restaurant on the ground floor, welcomes the guest who does not want to move out at the end of the holiday ;-) Nothing is missing in the apartment, we felt completely at home there. Whether inside - here niches and beautiful furniture are surprising - or outside - the view falls out of the window onto the Untermarkt and the church - it is the all-round feel-good package. I was particularly impressed by the detailed furnishings, because the owner managed to create a cozy atmosphere with wallpapers, antiques and natural stone elements without making the apartment look kitsch. Shops are all within walking distance, including the Thüringentherme and various restaurants, although the best is of course in the sexton's house. For us Mühlhausen was a discovery and so was the sexton's house!

Dear Mrs. Sennewald, Congratulations to this magical apartment! A long weekend - from the 17th to the 20th of August - we enjoyed to the fullest and decided to come back next year at the latest.
